Effects of Total Lunar Eclipse and Blood Moon on Self-Esteem

January 20th and 21st are special nights for 2019. On these two nights, the full blood moon eclipse will take shape. Humans have known for a long time that the phases of the moon directly affect our moods and sense of self. Hollywood constantly plays with the idea that our self is outwardly changed by a full-moon, (werewolves, specifically). However, scientific theories offer a more believable, and far more preferred, realization of self-change (for most). (Lycanthrope theorists, we got you. You do you.)

Still, the lunar happenings throughout January 2019 are strange. Fortunately, though, science promises they are favorable. This is especially true for a person’s self-esteem. Here are a few positive effects that this specific phase has on your self-esteem:

Draws Out Emotions

The whole basis of lunar reactions is the response of different amounts of gravitational pull. Therefore, it makes sense that when the gravitational pull is higher, emotional energy is affected. Now, what a person does with this emotional energy defines the response they are going to feel. Fighting the energy is exhausting. Dealing with it and homing in on it, however, will help you find enlightenment. Go with it, trust your body and give yourself the time to experience those emotions. Doing this will increase your self-awareness. This, in turn, will boost your self-esteem.

The moon and the sun are opposites. Akin to yin and yang, they create a balance that literally keeps the world from falling off its axis. The significance of a powerful blood moon and the effect it has on humans helps to restore a balance. There is a powerful entity that calls to our souls throughout the nights of the blood, full moon. This is an energy that we feel and respond to without really thinking about it. Yet, if we tune into this calling, it will help us balance ourselves out. The shift of the gravitational pull helps to reset our thoughts, in a way. When life is balanced, our world is at peace. Therefore, our self-esteem is lifted.

New Beginnings

The full moon is the last phase of the moon before another cycle starts. This special blood moon, along with the accompanying eclipse is important. Working together, the universe is telling us to eclipse the past, break away from it, and start anew. When we truly embrace this advice, a combination of responses works together. Drawing out our true emotions helps to free ourselves from hiding behind a façade. The restoration of balance helps to even out the result of heightened sensitivity. Once all of that is dealt with and resolved in our hearts, we can let it go. This is the only way to truly start a new beginning. When this happens, our self-esteem skyrockets.

Having love for yourself is an amazing feat. Anything that is theorized to help bolster self-esteem is worth a try. There are so many different energies available in the world, it is so nice to find one with such a positive vibe. Enjoy your new beginning and have a wonderfully positive 2019!
