Recovery coaching helps you to identify what you value in your life, and gives you tools to incorporate those same values in your living experience.

Recovery Coaching:

• does not promote or endorse any one modality of achieving and maintaining sobriety, but rather explores and employs an eclectic approach to recovery
• focuses on helping people to create and sustain meaningful lives
• helps people to resolve ambivalence around issues of self-defeating behavior
• is a strengths-based approach to recovery
• is not therapy or sponsorship
• does not diagnose or treat addiction or mental health problems, but can refer to other helping professions in your home community
• can help you to establish goals, and develop support in your home community via 12-step recovery,
• or can help you to explore alternatives to 12 step recovery programs
• can be employed as a tool for sober living, early on in your walk, or later on after years of recovery
